Art House Tour — Naoshima

On our final day on the island, a great deal of the day was spent partaking in an art house/gallery tour. Involving several locations in a close radius to one another, each house ‘housed’ works of artists which were all unique of one another. As pictured below, one such house contained a room filled with water, highlighting LED lighting with numbers. While the other displayed a multiple panel work with silver, which symbolised the passage of time due to the nature of silver oxidising therefore altering the works aesthetic over-time.
