Declan Monaghan is an emerging artist from Naarm/Melbourne who lives and works on Wurundjeri Country. Declan works predominantly in intaglio, specialising in photographic etching.

I am excited to have been selected as a finalist in the Lloyd Rees Emerging Artist Award at Gallery Lane Cove in Sydney. The exhibition will run between 3 and 20 December 2025.
I am delighted to announce that my second solo show, Growing, Unnoticed, will open at Brunswick Street Gallery in July 2025. Growing, Unnoticed is a series that explores our relationship with nature - examining the beauty present in even the smallest landscapes and environments.
