A day in Osaka

Upon travelling to the city of Osaka on the Shinkansen (bullet train), I watched the sunset over Osaka Castle - the former residence of the Japanese samurai warlord, Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Taking a moment to appreciate the rich history of Japan, I feel simultaneously overjoyed and grateful to be here.

This city is such a vibrant and lively place, yet not as hectic as Tokyo. From the nightlife, to the shopping and the food, there was so much to explore — I aim to revisit this city in the future and allow more time to investigate its culture.
